Amanda Ma is a graduate of Victorian College of the Arts, St. Martin's Theatre & Kathleen Gorham Dance School.  A prolific performing artist, her work can be seen on film, television and theatre. Amanda lived in New York City for more than nine years, which fed her creative practice in her early career. 

Some current and past favourite projects include Anthem (currently being developed with Arts Centre Melbourne); A Ghost in my Suitcase (Melbourne International Arts Festival/ Sydney Festival/ Perth Festival); TAXI (Big West Festival); Banh Chung (Footscray Community Arts Centre); M. Butterfly (MTC) and Madame Butterfly (Arts Centre Melbourne). 

Amanda freelances at the Werribee Open Range Zoo as a Safari Tour Guide and created 2 performances in response to their Mission Statement on Conservation, ‘Fighting Extinction’.
