Cindy Saja is a Jakarta-based illustrator who has worked on socially-conscious illustration projects such as ’40 Green Tips’ (Jakarta Post) and Butet Manurung’s ‘Jungle School’. Cindy has lectured in illustration at the Jakarta Institute of Arts (Institut Kesenian Jakarta). In 2018, Cindy was the illustrator for www.thechinesewhispers.com by Rani P Collaborations, which saw her tour to Ubud Writers and Readers Festival as well as the Makassar International Writers Festival. In 2019, Chinese Whispers will also be screening at Oakland Asian Cultural Centre (San Francisco), Singapore Writers Festival and Due West Festival (Melbourne).
